I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 1992 and a licensed Broker since 1998. I began my real estate career with Century 21 from 1992 thru 1998 and was an award-winning salesperson, one of the top in Connecticut for Century 21. I opened a Century 21 office in 1998. After deciding to leave Century 21, I opened my current office COLDWELL BANKER CALABRO & ASSOCIATES in 2003, a reputable and established locally owned business and have been in business for 19+ years. We are centrally located in Rocky Hill Connecticut. We serve all 269 towns and all 8 counties in our beautiful State of Connecticut. As a Coldwell Banker Franchise, I have been able to gain exposure, training, and knowledge from the Coldwell Banker Brand. Our office currently has 27 agents and counting.
I have been an award-winning salesperson with Coldwell Banker since we opened this Franchise. I was the #1 Coldwell Banker Salesperson in Connecticut based on closed units from 2012-2018 and was #3 in 2019. I consistently rank in REAL Trends “The Thousand” that highlights the top one-half percent of the nation’s real estate professionals. In 2017, I ranked #76 in North America and in 2018 I ranked #169. I have achieved the prestigious Coldwell Banker International Presidents Premier Award consistently over the past several years and will again in 2022.
I have been servicing REO Properties in Connecticut since 2003 and have sold REO properties since 1992. Some of these accounts are FREDDIE MAC/HOMESTEPS, FANNIE MAE/HOMEPATH, HUD and other smaller Banks and Servicers. I have been Freddie Mac Listing Broker since 2007 and have been the #1 Freddie Mac Listing broker from 2017-2020, #2 in 2021. I am considered their most experienced Listing Broker in Connecticut. I have been a Fannie Mae Listing Broker since 2012. I survived many cuts they made to their Broker Network after they purged many Brokers in CT due to lower inventory. I have been a Broad Listing Broker for HUD since 2015. I am in the top 3 Listing Brokers in Connecticut each year.
As an expert in the default servicing industry, I’ve successfully navigated nearly every kind of REO through the disposition process. From tear downs to luxury bank-owned assets, from condos to rural, hard-to-reach homes, we’ve done them all. And with each asset we bring the same tested and tailored approach: our timeline-driven processes, responsiveness, and the resourcefulness we know asset managers require of today’s REO Agent. I personally oversee every asset assigned from initial assignment to closing. My eyes see every property in our inventory.
The REO experience that I have gained over the years has helped me put state of the art systems in place to streamline the REO process. I utilize several different systems to maintain our REO properties such as Equator, HomeSteps Connect, Yardi Systems, Res.net, Pyramid, Exceleras, etc. We use Follow Up Boss, a state-of-the-art CRM to direct all incoming buyer leads for immediate follow up.
