My wife and I cannot say enough about how awesome our Realtor, Annie Chong is. We were looking at a house, so, I reached out to a lender that had a reputation of being great at certain types of loans to help us navigate financing a loan to buy it. So, next step was to sell our current home to get a decent down payment. Now, just the thought of selling your home can be a scary experience to many people (Like myself). So when I posted on Realtor.com, within less then 5 minutes of typing in my contact information and hitting send, my phone rang like crazy. I was nervous, of course. So, I let a few go to voicemail to screen later. But after the 3rd or 4th call, I picked it up because for some reason, I just had a good feeling. And yes, spoiler alert, it was Annie. And believe me, I was not disappointed in the least when I talked to her for the first time on the phone. She introduced herself and told me a little bit about herself and her experience in the field. She put me right at ease. She did not make me feel like I was just another commission, I could hear her passion for what she does, and would help me every step of the way. We set up a time to meet right away like a day or two later. When she arrived, she was far more prepared and ready then I could have expected. She had really done her homework and outlined the recent home purchases in my area and compared them to mine. I gave her a tour of my home, and she explained the small fixes and other details that I needed to make to get the best results. She then touched base with my lender briefly to get an idea of timetables, and things were going well at that point until the house we wanted, needed more work then we were willing to put into it. So, my wife and I looked at other houses for a month or so while the lender worked on our paperwork further so when we were ready, they could pull the trigger and move things quickly for us. We found one house that was perfect for us, so we put in an offer, and the seller accepted it. We set a closing date with the lender, and Annie advised through next steps. All was good until I was told by the lender I did not qualify for the loan I wanted due to a wording issue in my file. So we changed the loan type, still doable though, but the closing date was still set, and we had to work a lot faster to make sure we did not lose our dream home. The lender had my paperwork so all they had to do was change a few items. So I waited for the revised paperwork. A day passed and then another one did too. Annie had a sense something wasn't right, so she immediately jumped into action and pivoted us in a new direction. She had a lender that she worked with many times in the past that could do things quickly, and put me in touch with them. Let me tell you, 75% of the paperwork was actually completed in two days. But then he asked for other things just to be two steps ahead of the underwriter, so when they asked for something, it was ready right away to email. Annie Chong really saved the day knowing who could help us best before the house my wife and I wanted, could slip through our fingers. She put me in touch with a great Real Estate attorney also. She reviewed everything down to the last detail to make sure nothing could go wrong. She arranged for us to get the home inspection done by another person she knew who could work quickly, and also could educate me as he went though the house. And when some things in the house were found to be needing correction, she worked with the seller to negotiate things to both sides satisfaction. We did go past the official closing date, not by much, but she already had the foresight to get an extension for the closing date as soon as she saw it could potentially be delayed, just to make sure we could get that house we really wanted. And I can proudly say we did get that house, and closed on it a few days ago. She said she would help me every step of the way, and believe me, she kept her word and then some. She is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and she will take great care of your real Estate needs.
